3rd Innovacities Hall Held by ABIPIR-IFIA on November/December 2022 In Brazil
From November 30, December 1 to 2, 2022, ABIPIR held the SALAO INNOVACITIES – Exhibition of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability for Happy, Creative and Smart Cities, at the Rafain Palace Convention Center, in the city of Foz do Iguacu, Parana, Brazil.
ABIPIR-IFIA held, for the third consecutive year, the edition of the INNOVACITIES Trinacional Exhibition at the 17th Festival das Cataratas, at the invitation of the organizer of the main tourism event in Brazil this year.
Together with more than 7,500 Festival das Cataratas participants, we were present with our partners, sponsors, and supporters, including Innovation System of Western Paraná – Iguassu Valley; Sol Pedras Group; ACIFI – Commercial and Business Association of Foz do Iguaçu; Entrepreneur ACIFI Program; ACIFI Sustainability Center; ILZB – Waste Zero Brazil Institute; Parimpacto – Generating a Positive Impact; De Angeli Events; We.Flow – Social Impact and Conscious Regional Leadership; Visit Iguassu Convention & Bureau; and SEBRAE – Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service.O Salão INNOVACITIES contemplou programação inovadora ao incluir o 1st Trimpact Day e o 8th Iguassu Conecta, em parceria com Iguassu Valley, premiado o melhor Ecossistema de Inovação Consolidado do Brasil em 2022, Programa Empreender da ACIFI, Fundação Parque Tecnológico Itaipu (FPTI) e Instituto Lixo Zero Brasil).
In a pioneering way, 7 BCorps from 5 Latin American countries shared, in Foz do Iguaçu, their successful cases (pitches) and discussed Companies with Purpose, those that invest their daily efforts to become better for the World. It was the first time that a Latin American panel with companies certified by the B / B Labs System took place in the Trinational Region (Brazil-Paraguay-Argentina). Success, the event provoked reactions of attractiveness about uniting in a strategic and pragmatic way, Profit and Impact in businesses linked to the generation of positive impact, circular economy, regenerative economy, and ESG. Representing Brazil: We.Flow (Paulo Cruz Filho), Parimpacto (Mariangela Lückmann) and Cambará Eco Hotel (Emiliano Brugnera); Paraguay: Ecological Solutions (Carlos Jara); Bolivia: Mamut (Ronald Gonzales); Colombia: Recover your Silla (Maria Angélica); and Venezuela: Brocicla (Fiorella Riveros).
Many reflections took place in the Panel “Zero Waste Cities & Trinational Region”, with representatives from Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil. The high-level organization and mediation of the debate were in charge of Fátima Langbeck, from Instituto Lixo Zero Brasil. There was also a super pitch and debate with “Companies with Sustainable Practices” in the Trinational Region, coordinated by the ACIFI Sustainability Center.
And, for technological startups and those interested in angel investment, it was present at the 8th Iguassu Conecta an Iguassu Angels, the first association of angel investors in Foz do Iguaçu and western Paraná. With a super motivating focus, the President, Taiuska Lima and co-founders guided those present on how to get the first check for startups with scalability potential.
The Itaipu Technological Park presented, under the coordination of its Institute of Territorial Intelligence, an overview of the projects and actions of this Habitat of Innovation aimed at Sustainability in the year 2022, surprising those present by the diversity of projects, scope and depth of the approaches established for the territory of Western Paraná, as well as results.
A great success, crowded with entrepreneurs and representatives of institutions from the three countries, Brazil-Paraguay-Argentina, the event was characterized by an International environment of challenges and uninterrupted solutions for the reality of the Trinational Region.
We would like to thank the organization of the Festival das Cataratas, represented here by its creator Paulo Angeli and the General Coordinator Mira Angeli, for the warm welcome to ABIPIR-IFIA in this fundamental event in Foz do Iguaçu, one of the main world tourist destinations.
Hall marked once again, on Brazilian soil, the partnership to boost the territorial development of the tri-national region through Innovation and Entrepreneurship with a Strong base of sustainability, between ABIPIR and partners, with the support of the Board of Directors of IFIA for Latin America.
