ABIPIR is a non-governmental and non-profit organization founded in 2011 with the mission of providing means for inventors, scientists and researchers to turn ideas into products, processes, services, management tools, and innovative business models.

The main goals of ABIPIR have been disseminating the culture of entrepreneurial innovation among children and adolescents to value social and environmental responsibility; encouraging participation in workshops, lectures, symposia, and fairs of innovation; focusing on business partnerships and representing Brazilian inventors in IFIA’s international invention exhibitions.

ABIPIR has developed a Program named EDUCAINNOVA – Entrepreneurship Creative Education which aims to disseminate the culture of innovation among the new generations by organizing workshops such as Excellence in Smart Innovation. It tends to help professional inventors to increase their skills in creativity and entrepreneurship and to contribute to forming its future generation. Part of the financial resources arising from this workshop is devoted to helping Brazilian Inventors who can’t afford the costs of prototyping, patent application, participating in inventions shows and so forth.

ABIPIR has a new sector named Inter American Intelligence in Innovation Agency (AGIL) which is IFIA’s Latin America representative office. Its main objective is to be an intermediate of inventors and investors who will have an interest in the license, buy or share patent rights or share the academic researches connecting all actors of the innovation process between Latin America and the rest of the world.

ABIPIR is the organizer of INNOVACITIES 2015 – Global Exhibition for Creative, Human and Smart Cities, one of the most important invention and innovation events of Latin America.

IFIA members are our special guests. Come and participate in the biggest event of inventions, applied sciences, innovations, business, and sustainability, held by ABIPIR and partners, through the IFIA-ABIPIR Office for Latin America.
