BRICS INVENTIONS 2025 / Online, Registration May 1 to June 30

BRICS-Inventions is a worldwide competition for Inventors & Innovators that are not able to participate in physical events.

IFIA and the organizers have over 55 years’ experience with invention and innovations fairs around the world.

They realized that, unfortunately, the cost of travel and those associated to these events may be excessive for a number of inventors and innovators, and they would not be able to have their inventions and innovations assessed according to the standards prevailing in these international events.

They have therefore put together a team to be at the service of these same Inventors and Innovators by way of an online event endowed with very large cash rewards.

BRICS-Inventions online platform is to serve as a welcoming space for inventors from all corners of the globe to participate in a significant competition.

By opening its doors to innovators worldwide, BRICS-Inventions not only promotes diversity but also enriches the pool of talent and ideas.

This inclusive approach ensures that groundbreaking innovations, irrespective of geographical boundaries, receive recognition and acclaim on a global scale.

The Prizes and cash awards are as follows:

15’000 CHF as Grand prize for an invention or innovation that reaches the highest level of excellence.

7’500 CHF as second prize for an invention or innovation which achieves a level of excellence.

3’500 CHF as third prize for an excellent invention or innovation.

5’000 CHF for the best invention or innovation from a member of the BRICS countries.

1’000 CHF IFIA prize for best invention or innovation.

1’000 CHF IFIA prize for the best women inventor or innovator.

1’000 CHF IFIA prize for a young inventor under the age of 18.

All other participants who are evaluated and judged, depending on the result of the evaluation, may receive:

Gold Medal with Certificate, Silver Medal with Certificate, Bronze Medal with Certificate

These medals and certificates should be sent to the inventors and innovators within 30 days of the closing of the competition,

If you have developed an invention or innovation and it is protected by the filing of an intellectual property right, be it a patent, a design or a copyright, you are eligible to participate in the event.

It is recommended to have a prototype, even partially functioning.

It is necessary to register and a have 3 – 5 minute film demonstrating the invention or innovation and provide a link at registration stage.
