IFIA AND ABIPIR SUPPORT THE MOST IMPORTANT INNOVATION EVENT FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE WORLD – GIFT.
In yet another edition of the Global Innovation Field Trip – GIFT, which featured students, children and adolescents from dozens of countries presenting ideas, scientific projects, inventions and innovations with the potential to make the world healthier, environmentally sustainable and fairer.
IFIA through its President Alireza Rastegar and ABIPIR through its President and Director of IFIA in Latin America, Dr. Marcelo Vivacqua, for the second time supported this important event that has contributed to inspiring and positively transforming the lives of thousands of people. young people in the world.
In this time there were 4 very relevant projects: the first one was a national program from the USA which has the main goal to incentive people to give the right destination and recycle used batteries; the second one was an invention from Africa to sterilize the hands of people avoiding the COVID and other infectious diseases to be transmitted and the 2 others were based in robotics science which helps students to develop the STEM matters skills and simultaneously learning how to code, one of the most required skills in the work market nowadays.
IFIA and ABIPIR congratulate the creators of GIFT, Jake Mendelssohn and Juli Shively for the great contribution and value they have been adding to the lives of these students.
