IFIA & UBL Collaborate to Empower Women
Union of Business Ladies (UBL) and IFIA signed an MOU on 10 July 2017 to exchange expertise and opportunities for supporting, encouraging and empowering women around the world.
UBL is a non-profit organization which provides an outstanding platform to bring women entrepreneurs together to share their experience and develop lucrative partnerships. UBL organizes different activities including a variety of conferences, forums, and training sessions to educate the ladies in business.
Pursuant to the MOU, Ekaterine Maisuradze, President of UBL, joins IFIA Women Network Board of Experts. Having been a brilliant leader in many national and international organizations mentoring thousands of people, Ms. Maisuradze has achieved commendable fame in Georgia and internationally. She also sets a great example for the women who find it challenging to maintain family and business together.
IFIA also supports Global Business Forum (GBF), to be organized by UBL under the theme “21st Century Challenges in Business” at Biltmore Hotel- Tbilisi, Georgia on September 15th, 2017 to empower the developing world to match today’s standards. GBF will host world renowned business owners and entrepreneurs from all the continents to exchange ideas and create international networks.
IFIA encourages all the member states to actively take part in the Forum which discusses business and investment opportunities. The crucial topics targeting women empowerment and intergration in developing countries will be hotly debated.
