Foundation for Design and Invention Nigeria Joins IFIA
The Foundation for Design and Invention Nigeria (FDIN), a non-profit organization established in Nigeria, joins IFIA Full Members as screened and admitted by IFIA Executive Committee members.
FDIN plans to work with governmental organization, public and private stakeholders in the field of Engineering, Telecommunication, Medicine, Agriculture, and Technology within and outside the shores of Nigeria to improve the well being of not only Inventors but the common Nigerian and the African continent.
The association also plans on being part of a well-recognized body like the IFIA to become its ambassadors for growth and development in Africa.
Foundation for Design and Invention Nigeria aims to organize inventors in Nigeria, for purposes of raising awareness on Intellectual Property Rights, and assist inventors in the development of their inventions from idea formation to its commercialization.
FDIN organizes seminars, workshops or symposiums in schools, colleges and universities in order to educate and train the inventors and researchers on various aspects of invention & innovation.
Collaboration between international corporations and inventors for the growth of the African continent is another activity performed by FDIN to ensure the international recognition of African and Nigerian Inventors.
Engaging local industries for purposes of promoting joint ventures between Association members and industry is among the other objectives which FDIN attempts to fulfill.
