IFIA and ABIPIR Encourage the Formation of New Inventors
At the invitation of the Coordinator of the Post-Graduation course of Work Safety Engineering, Professor Edgar Lima and the Professor of the discipline Andre Cerqueira, the President of the Brazil International Innovative Inventors, Scientists and Entrepreneurs’ Association – ABIPIR and the representative of IFIA in the Latin America, the inventor and Doctor in Biotechnology Mr. Marcelo Vivacqua gave a lecture on “How to become an Entrepreneur and Innovative Inventor, Engineer”.
During the presentation, President Marcelo emphasized the importance of developing skills, competencies and entrepreneurial attitudes, notions about patents. business models, startups, among others. The acquisition of this knowledge is essential to transform an idea into an invention and, later, into a successful business.
He used as a tool the “Genome of Innovation“, methodology which received the seal of IFIA, which demonstrates in 6 steps how to reach this goal and that it covers all topics mentioned above.
As a success story he presented the innovative products of the Chinese company GUOTAI, which has made a deal with ABIPIR to intermediate the technical validation of its products with the Brazilian certification bodies. The Company develops innovative solutions for fire-fighting such as the automatic fire extinguisher that is a self-acting device and the forest fire extinguisher. Both have the potential to preserve lives, the environment and heritage.
The students have shown great interest in the presentation and have actively interacted with the President of ABIPIR and speaker, making questions that show many of them have great inventive potential and only need expert guidance to become future inventors.
The event was held at the University of Vila Velha, located in the municipality of Vila Velha, in the State of Espírito Santo, which is ranked as the number 1 among the private higher education institutions in Brazil.
IFIA and ABIPIR thank and congratulate the University of Vila Velha – UVV and the Professors Andre Cerqueira and Edgar Lima for the initiative of promoting activities that connect students with the reality of the market and have the opportunity to know the way these entities operate and stimulate the formation of new inventors, both of which are available to support at all times.
With this initiative, IFIA, under the leadership of President Alireza Rastegar and ABIPIR, reaffirm their commitment to enable, disseminate, support and carry out activities that promote the growth and success of inventors around the world while stimulating the formation of new ones.
The history of mankind has been written by the skillful hands of the inventors who, with persistence, resilience, talent and, above all, the extraordinary creativity and problem-solving obsession make people’s lives healthier, safer, more comfortable and happier.
