Inaugurated on 9 October 2017 in the Main Hall of the Warsaw University of Technology, the 11th annual of International Warsaw Invention Show was successfully closed on 11 October. As in previous years, the event was organized by the Association of Polish Inventors and Innovators in cooperation with the Polish Patent Office and the Warsaw University of Technology. The event also enjoyed the patronage of International Federation of Inventors’ Association (IFIA) and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education among others.
The support and assistance provided by the Warsaw University of Technology as well as Ministry of Science and Higher Education enabled the Association of Polish Inventors and Innovators to convene the inventors around the globe in an international platform titled “IWIS”. IWIS provided the participants a unique chance to showcase their innovative technologies, gain international recognition, meet technology buyers and market their innovations.
To appreciate such a fruitful cooperation, IFIA President, Alireza Rastegar, conferred IFIA Memorial Medal to the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology, Professor Jan Szmidt and Minister of Science and High Education, His Excellency Piotr Dardziński on 9 October 2017 during the opening ceremony.
