IFIA Supports Women Inventors & Innovators

International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) offers the unconditional support for the upcoming 6th Bi-Annual International European Union Women Inventors & Innovators Network (EUWIIN) Exhibition, Conference and Awards ceremony which is scheduled for 28-29 June 2017, in Bari Italy.
The platform serves to highlight inventive women and young people as a driving force critical to the present and the future. It brings together leading role models to unravel knowledge, unlock growth opportunities and best practices covering various intellectual property sectors.
Previous events have been successfully held in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Ghana, Nigeria, Belgium, Mexico, Germany, Finland, Iceland, Sweden, and South Africa. It has attracted leading and influential dignitaries from various sectors including the President of Iceland and the President of South Africa, First lady of Ghana and various government Ministers, Academia and Entrepreneurs.
The International EUWIIN Awards are staged to put the spotlight on various women from across Europe and the international world. The women may be brilliant scientists, exceptionally creative, inventive, innovative, entrepreneurs, engineers, technologists, designers from all sectors and backgrounds or the inspired designers of simple, cheap technologies.
They may also have created a new device or system or process capable of impacting millions of people for the better. They may have leadership qualities, attract loyalty and respect. They may inspire the support of colleagues and employees. They may build powerful teams, capable of dramatically leveraging the impact of their efforts. They are likely to be relentless in pursuing their goals. The winners may be very different, but they will have in common: tenacity, the determination to succeed, commitment, extraordinary potential, someone whose positive influence could spread, transcending borders, something that can contribute to the future and quality of life on earth.
Each country nominates their women who have come up with interesting innovations and IFIA Best Invention Medal will be awarded to two outstanding women inventors in order to celebrate the contributions they have made for the advancement of societies and public welfare despite the challenges they have encountered.
