Innovacities Africa 2017 Report

Innovacities Africa 2017 kicked off on 2 May and ended successfully on 7 May 2017 in Luanda, Angola. The event was organized by Angolan Association of Inventors and Innovators under the patronage of Independent University of Angola and International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).
Innovacities Africa convened the inventors of the capital Luanda and most of the Angolan Provinces, and 15 inventors were able to exhibit their work, reaching an estimated audience of 2000 people, mostly students from the Independent University of Angola.
Genome of Innovation workshop was held on 3 May by the Scientist and Professor Marcelo Vivacqua providing the inventors, innovators and students of the University of Angola with important information about the main concepts used by innovators around the world.
The PROCITIES InnovaCities Africa was created in InnovaCities Brazil in 2016, with the aim of increasing the volume of trade between Angola and Brazil, held in the premises of Findes – Federation of Industries of the Holy Spirit. In the InnovaCities Africa in 2017 its scope became worldwide, bringing the two – day meeting of the PROCITIES companies worldwide interested in maintaining commercial and industrial relationship with Angola and Africa.
