Lebanese Innovators Society Joins IFIA Members
The Lebanese Innovators Society (L.I.S.), a young nongovernmental, non-profit, civil organization for children and youth, joins IFIA corresponding members after obtaining the approval of IFIA Executive Committee members during IFIA virtual Executive Committee meeting held on 11 July 2017.
L.I.S cooperates with Lebanese schools, universities, and the Ministry of Education and other organizations on an international level. L.I.S organizes conferences, seminars, workshops and expositions for children and youth focused on science, technology, and ecology. L.I.S aims to support young people to take part in the process of development of science and technology and to encourage them to improve their interests and extracurricular activities that can help them in the future.
The members of L.I.S develop their skills in different scientific fields of robotics, computer science, biotechnology, earth science, and various other disciplines.
L.I.S is also a member of IFIA Youth Network Board of Experts in order to offer consultation and assistance to the young inventors facing challenges in their endeavors toward invention and innovation.
