Moroccan Woman Scientist, Innovator and Lecturer
Mariem Kharroubi , a PHD holder, is the chief of Biotechnology Laboratory at National Institute of Fisheries Researches in Morocco. She is also a member of RD Biotechnology commission in AHP Agadir Cluster.
Dr. Kharroubi has succeeded to either present or publish over 20 scientific papers, patents and projects. She is an expert in many areas of Sea product Biotechnological upgrading in several fields of application such as agricultural, feed, food, cosmetic, nutraceutic and ect.
Dr. Kharroubi frequently delivers various lectures on various topics related to Biotechnology in the International University of Agadir Universiapolis.
The National Institute of fisheries Research has been offering innovative and natural marine products for over 10 years through its Biotechnology laboratory (CSVTP M, Agadir).
Dr. Kharroubi has developed and gained patent for Marine Collagen which is obtained from sardine scales using an innovative process. Collagen is necessary to prevent a skin aging, skeleton fragility and muscle loss.
