Four New Members Join IFIA Family
During IFIA 13th Virtual Executive Committee meeting, organized on 15 August 2017, four newly-received membership requests from Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, the Philippine, and China were examined and gained the majority of positive votes.
Saudi Innovation Window
SIW, a non-profit organization aiming to be the national and international pioneer in the domain of innovation and invention is admitted as IFIA Full member. SIW spreads the education of invention and innovation and develops innovations to become applicable to be produced nationally and internationally.
Tanzania Inventors and Techno-Thinkers Consortium
TITC is accepted as IFIA Full member. Tanzania Inventors and Techno-Thinkers Consortium aims to inspire innovative thinking, encourage young people to think creatively, teach the principles of innovation and nurture bright innovative ideas.
Manila Young Inventors Association
The association is admitted as IFIA Corresponding member and aims to leapfrog creativity, innovation, invention and entrepreneurship towards national development. The institution has already implemented several projects in the field of invention and innovation such as Young Inventors Contest and Exhibit and Invention Development in Education Advocacy Project.
Chinaplas, an elite showcase for innovative and sustainable plastics and rubber solutions, is admitted as IFIA Collaborating member. “Intelligent Manufacturing, High-Tech Materials, Green Solutions” is the theme of Chinaplas 2018. In addition, Chinaplas has been striving for getting the plastics industry with new insights that reflect the market dynamics. With the past three years, Chinaplas has joined hands with BASF, the world’s leading chemical company, to present a current event named “Design X Innovation” during the show.
