IFIA Calls the Intellectual Community to Action
International Federation of Inventors’ Associations calls the community of inventors and innovators to action for the “Rural OPEAD- Strategic Program to Support Rural Development and offer a more adequate life to society, provoking its growth.
Rural OPEAD is developed by IFIA Full Member from Angola, Angolan Association of Inventors and Innovators and supported by IFIA. The present project is a subprogramme and an integral part of the national government program for rural development. The project aims to develop technologies of invention and innovation in rural communities, with an emphasis on creating sustainable conditions in these fringes of society.
The program intends to unite the intellectual and academic community to make economic, social and environmental transformations in the rural community. Why do we think of rural society immediately? Because in any society of the world, the development begins at the base and the base is the rural zone. We cannot think of the full development of a society without thinking of its basis.
The intellectual community, the inventors and technology innovators are urged to detect the main serious problems encountered by the rural community, seek the best solutions to these problems and create ideas and technologies that help these communities to have better living conditions.
