Based on the IFIA Statutes, member countries are required to pay their membership fees in January of each year. The membership fee is determined based on the country's status, which may vary between underdeveloped, developing, and developed nations.
IFIA, is a non-profit organization section (501) c 3 dedicated to fostering innovation and supporting inventors worldwide, benefits from tax exemption status in both Switzerland and the USA.
This privileged status allows IFIA to allocate its financial resources more effectively towards its various programs, initiatives, and efforts aimed at advancing the field of invention and promoting positive societal impact through innovation.

IFIA provides a myriad of services to inventors and innovators worldwide. All these services are aimed at assisting and supporting inventors in their endeavors to promote and expand innovation across the globe for a better tomorrow. We take pride in making this vision a reality.
IFIA offers a variety of services aimed at supporting inventors and fostering innovation globally. These include the Innovation Academy, providing training programs to educate and empower inventors; the RIT team, dedicated to bringing inventive ideas to fruition; the IFIA Innovation Standard, responsible for identifying and acknowledging innovative inventions; and the INV title, awarded to recognize the achievements and contributions of inventors.
