Partnership Agreement: UNION and UCAM

Union of Inventors of Morocco admitted as IFIA full member and the Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech (UCAM) signed a partnership agreement to initiate and develop exchanges in the fields of common interest and to promote academic education and scientific research.

Initiated by the president of the UCAM, Prof. Abdellatif Miraoui and President of the Union of Inventors in Morocco, Mr Majid El Bouazzaoui, the Convention aims to:

– Associate UCAM in the international participations of the Union of Inventors in inventions related events (exhibitions, fairs of inventions, etc.)
– Involve students (inventors) from UCAM in the 1st edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions estimated in Marrakech during the current year
– Enable the Union of Inventors (inventors member of Union of Inventors) to access the services of the Innovation City of Marrakech
– Assign to the Union of Inventors the right to be represented in the UCAM
– Consider joint programs for the organization of training sessions and courses in the field of drafting patents in accordance with national and international laws
– Cooperate in the field of visits to companies
– Promoting invention in the industrial, commercial and services associated to the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Marrakech-Safi region
– Organize round tables, conferences and workshops on the management of research agreements between companies and researchers for the benefit of the faculty, doctoral candidates, students in master degrees and talented students
– Exchange experience and expertise between the Union of Inventors and the UCAM related to sponsorship of inventions by companies
