World Competition of Chemical Inventions 2016
The 5th annual of the World Competition of Chemical Inventions 2016 was organized by the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) and the Association of Polish Inventors and Innovators alongside International Warsaw Invention Show 2016.
The jury of the competition consisted of:
- prof. Grzegorz Grynkiewicz, Pharmaceutical Research Institute
- Jerzy Polaczek, deputy editor of the Chemical Industry
- prof. Victor Andrei Sandu, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania
The main prize of the International Chemistry Competition went to Poland to the Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis “Blachowania” for the solution Dioctyl Terphthalate Manufacturing Process.
Four awards of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry were awarded to Paraffin emulsion for various applications from the Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis “Blachownia” , A process of waste sulfuric acid purification from the Oil and Gas Institute, A new method for the synthesis of longchain arylpiperazines (LCAPs) under microwave irradiation from the Cracow University of Technology and Production of nanotubular TiO2 and reactor for photocatalytic detoxcation and treatment of water from the Moldovan Academy of Sciences.
