Announcement of Results for the 3rd IFIA INV Members Competition
We are delighted to unveil the outcomes of the Third International Invention and Innovation Competition for IFIA INV Members. The event, a showcase of inventive brilliance, has culminated in the declaration of its final results.
As a distinguished NGO dedicated to fostering ingenuity and breakthroughs, the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) has a pivotal mission to honor the inventive and innovative community. In pursuit of this objective, we introduced the INV title as an accolade for the inventors, a move that paved the way for the inception of the INV Invention Competition.
In the context of the third International Invention Competition, over 830 groundbreaking inventions were submitted by participants hailing from 36 countries worldwide. Notably, the submissions spanned a diverse range of nations, including the USA, Canada, Australia, Morocco, Indonesia, Turkey, Iran, Russia, Qatar, Bahrain, the UK, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and Poland.
The period of August 20-22, 2023 witnessed the virtual unfolding of the Third International Competition for Inventors and Innovators, acknowledged as INV members of IFIA. The entire event was seamlessly hosted virtually. Each aspiring inventor underwent a meticulous process involving the submission of an INV membership certificate, a detailed registration form, and a concise 3-5 minute video exposition of the submitted invention. This well-crafted procedure enabled the IFIA adjudicators to thoroughly evaluate the innovations with precision and efficiency.
The jury’s evaluation criteria encompassed an array of facets inherent to each invention. Notably, paramount among these criteria was the assessment of whether an innovation embraced environmentally friendly and sustainable attributes. Additionally, the presence of a tangible public demand for the invention was a pivotal consideration.
It is important to note that all the inventions and innovations were categorized into 13 distinct classes, spanning fields such as Computer Science, Medical Technology, Mechanics, Civil Engineering, Environmental Protection, Agriculture, and more.
After an exhaustive three-day evaluation period, the results have now been tabulated. Each victor of this esteemed competition shall receive a distinguished certificate (be it Gold, Silver, or Bronze) conferred by IFIA, delivered via the email provided during the registration process.
In closing, it is heartening to observe that even amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, the spirit of invention and innovation persists resolutely. Individuals continue to channel their efforts toward enhancing the lives of others through groundbreaking ideas.
Lastly, IFIA takes immense pride in witnessing the global expansion of the invention and innovation ecosystem. With each passing day, a growing number of individuals embrace this transformative culture with keen interest. For those who regrettably could not partake in this event, we are pleased to announce that the International INV Competition for Inventors is slated to return in 2024.
