Company: SLEER

Owners of the innovation:

Analog Meter Reader Using Infrared Sensor

Acknowledgment: Congratulations on being one of the pioneer innovators who have obtained the IFIA Innovation Standard certificate (IIS).

Following your inquiry for an IIS certification, the jury board evaluated your application according to the criteria. And after the assessment and examinations, your innovation was granted with IFIA Innovation Standard Grade B.

IFIA hopes that by having this certification, you will take an essential step in the commercialization of your innovation. Also, by entering international markets, you can contribute to the realization of the global slogan: Generating wealth through innovative knowledge.

The Summary of Innovation:

SLEER water, electricity, and gas meter is a bidirectional battery-operated (battery-powered) and long-range transceiver with low power consumption. Real-time data is transmitted to the SLEER device wirelessly to automatically be processed by its software program. Since fewer components are required, the assembly time will be significantly reduced. Circuit design and analysis are also conducted to ensure that all requirements are met. As soon as the device is turned on for the first time, the water, electricity, and gas distribution company should save the sensor qualifications. It is possible to do so through a direct connection to the serial port. Various types of information are included in this planning system, such as word frequency, the number of relationships with the sensor at different times, and other settings.

IIS Grade B - Analog Meter Reader Using Infrared Sensor

The most considerable and distinct advantage of this sensor and software is that the infrastructure has been decreased to the lowest possible amount. In addition, we have applied a particular type of protocol that reduces the need for infrastructure equipment to 70 percent and less.

Why is this innovation eligible to receive the IIS certification?

This product, an exclusive sensor for mechanical water, electricity, and gas meters, is based on a practical and budget-friendly solution. Sleer water, electricity, and gas meter sensor turns an automatic meter into a digital meter, reads the meter information automatically, and does not require the water, electricity, and gas subscribers’ involvement. It is possible to read the meter information by installing this sensor on the meter body, and WIFI or mobile networks are not required to connect to the server. Moreover, there is no need to apply some changes in the appearance of the water, electricity and gas meter. It attaches to the pipe with straps without any cuts, making it very cheap and fast to set up. It also finds any leakage in specific conditions almost instantly. This sensor gathers information, makes it accessible in statistics, and can control energy consumption. The applications of our product are listed as follows:
Water, electricity, and gas Metering: frequent reporting provides a detailed usage overview.
• Leakage and Usage Detection: it can be configured to send alerts when
leakage/usage is detected.
• Tampering Detection: sensor sends an alert when optical and magnetic
tampering is detected. This device can be easily set up and installed on any meter body with no physical alteration to the current meter’s form and shape. The installation is speedy and can be done in a matter of minutes. Cost-effective setup with minimal changes, minimal infrastructure equipment requirement, environmental-friendly are some of the advantages of our product.
