batteries. XGraphite is a solid-state battery designed on the basis of graphite, which gives it superior performance characteristics and helps us steer away from relying on rare, environmentally harmful elements such as lithium, cobalt, and nickel.
XGraphite is an industry-leading innovation that redefines how batteries can be constructed and operated, providing significant advantages over existing technologies. Our product, XGraphite, is not an ordinary battery. It’s a revolutionary energy solution that uses graphite as both anode and cathode. Through a specialized process of graphite oxidation, the battery generates energy, making it a novel energy source that functions without the need for recharging once it’s charged, thanks to its single chemical charge operation.

We aim to provide a sustainable alternative to traditional lithium-ion batteries, eliminating the use of scarce and environmentally harmful elements while delivering superior energy density. The XGraphite battery stands as a distinctive innovation in the field of energy storage. It is a solid-state battery, meaning all its components are in a solid state, which contributes to its safety and higher specific energy density.
At the heart of the XGraphite battery is graphite, an allotrope of carbon
characterized by its exceptional conductivity, stability, and energy storage properties. The layered structure of graphite enables it to store a large quantity of energy per unit volume, a key factor in achieving the battery’s high energy density. In this innovative design, graphite is mixed with another element, referred to as “X,” and then poured into a container to form the body of the battery.
- A prototype battery weighing 1.9 kg (including electrodes and used powder) achieved an output of 23 volts at 14 amps for 2 hours. This performance corresponds to a specific energy density of approximately 338.9 Wh/kg.
- A smaller version of the battery, weighing just 8 grams, was able to generate 1.5 volts at 3 amps for 3 hours. This corresponds to an exceptionally high specific energy density of 1687.5 Wh/kg.
These results demonstrate a competitive advantage over traditional lithium-ion
batteries typically have specific energy densities around 150-300 Wh/kg, with newer models reaching up to 500-700 Wh/kg. Our XGraphite battery surpasses these levels, offering a breakthrough in energy density that could revolutionize the battery industry.
Using the standard parameter of specific energy density, the capacity of this battery is above 1600 wh/kg. However, at least 480 wh/kg energy density is needed for aerospace purposes.
