Genome of Innovation: A Teaching Methodology
Genome of Innovation, authored by Professor Dr. Marcelo Vivacqua, makes part of the Invent, Innovate and Change the World (2ICW) Global Program developed by IFIA and ABIPIR to disseminate the culture of invention and innovation around the world.
The book teaches the method of 6 Steps or 6 P’s namely people, perception, product, protection, planning and promotion for inventors, scientists and entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into a successful marketable product.
Dr. Marcelo Vivacqua says:
“Genome according to encyclopedia Wikipedia means all hereditary information of an organism that is encoded in its DNA. More precisely, the genome of an organism is a gene formed by a set of chromosomes. The chromosomes are the cells that make up our genetic code that determine what our physical, intellectual, and behavioral characteristics will be. Following the same logic, the “Genome of Innovation” includes the 6 “genes” that once combined, are responsible for balancing the process of transforming an idea into a successful marketable product. As in the human genome, the absence or malformation of one of these genes causes its carrier to present physical and / or intellectual problems, failure to comply with one of the 6 steps or achievement with poor quality will inevitably lead to disappointment, failure and injury.
Identifying the problems that keep inventors, scientists, and entrepreneurs from achieving their long-awaited success was the first step in motivating me to write the “Genome of Innovation” methodology. It has been applied for 4 years in courses and workshops and helping inventors, scientists and entrepreneurs to overcome obstacles and achieve success. This eBook contains excerpts from the book and online course that will be released soon. I hope you can take good lessons from it”.
