CIKI – The VI International Conference on Knowledge and Innovation will be held with the partnership of International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) on October 31 st and November 1 st in Bogota, Colombia under the theme “Accelerating Innovation: Decisive Factor for Social Development”.

CIKI 2016 is coordinated by the program College of the Americas (COLAM) of the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE-OUI), the University of Santo Tomas in Colombia, the graduate program in Engineering and Knowledge Management of the Federal University of Santa Catarina and the Science and Technology Park – TECNOPUC of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, in partnership with many institutions of higher education and organizations of the Americas.

This regional event aims to promote the conceptual, methodological development and practice in Knowledge Management, Intellectual Capital and Innovation Management. CIKI is a forum for the exchange of ideas, strategies and trends for the development of innovation ecosystems and the Quadruple Helix approach.
But above all, it is an ideal scenario for the analysis of experiences and best practices that drive innovation in the region.
