IFIA is proud that Vivi Aakjær, IFIA Executive Committee member, has been employed in CARGO 2000 as the CEO and Inventive director to give the consultation on how to integrate innovation in the business and enhance competitiveness. IFIA has always stressed the importance of encouraging female inventors and entrepreneurs to be involved in business, to from a big part of innovative society and help the economy grow.
CARGO 2000 A / S is a Danish freight forwarding company based in Højbjerg and its sister company Transport resides in Hvidovre. Both companies specialize in line traffics which are particularly adapted to customer needs.The companies have been around for 15 years with an annual turnover of over 100 million. kr.
Ms. Vivi Aakjær, one of the few professional Danish inventors, has also greatly contributed to the promotion of the culture of invention and innovation in Denmark by helping to found Danish inventor association of which she is a chairman. The publication of the book “The forgotten store” by the leading Danish business newspaper “Boersen” has further promoted creativity among the danish people.
In October 2015, Vivi Aakjær was awarded Gwiin and EUWIIN special prize to appreciate her dedicated efforts in the field of invention and innovation.
