About INEX 2021
The sixth edition (hybrid) of India International Innovation & Invention Expo (INEX 2021) is planned to be organized virtually online and traditionally on-site in VNRVJIET Campus, Bachupally, Hyderabad, Telangana, India under IFIA’s patronage. Hyderabad is a historical city with an e-visa facility and many flights operate from the International airport of Hyderabad. INEX 2021 is supported by the state Govt. of Telanagana and various Ministries, Industry associations and premier Indian R&D Institutes.
The city of Hyderabad has a population of 10 million, historically known as a pearl and diamond trading center “City of Pearls”, emergence of pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries in the 1990s led to the area’s naming as India’s “Genome Valley” and “Cyber City’ is the name of extended city housing Information Technology companies like Microsoft, Google. India is a trillion-dollar market and free country. Technology licensing is the primary aim of the expo. A compendium of best practices on the Demand Side of the Innovation Policy will be released during the expo as part of knowledge sharing amongst the innovation community.
In addition, the third edition of the Global Young Scientist Challenge (GYSC 2021) will be held alongside INEX 2021 on December 15th and 16th. All young researchers and inventors up to 25 years old are eligible to register in GYSC 2021. Global Young Scientist Challenge is a global platform organized by Indian Innovators Association and IBS GLOBAL for young innovators, inventors and schools to showcase their innovative skills and love for science. GYSC provides an opportunity for young inventors to compete and learn about scientific advancements and innovations happening around the world. The 2021 Edition of GYSC is bigger and better with entries from 30 countries!
