Swedish Inventors Association aims to encourage the promotion of innovation climate, and in particular the individual’s ability to contribute to the future regeneration and prosperity of society. The association which is the oldest one in the world was founded in 1886 by renowned patent engineer and balloonist Salomon August Andree. Swedish Inventors Association form a network where the target audience inventors and small business owners have access to, and support each other, with skills upgrading, counseling, coaching, mentoring, problem solving, role models and inspiration.

Swedish Inventors Association is the national coordinating office in Stockholm. Member Associations are available throughout Sweden, from Malmö in the south to Constance in the north. The local unions are affiliated to the confederation but with its own management and operations as well as funding.

Operations Headquarters and National Level Concentrate on

• Incentives, support and development of regional operations for inventors by member associations. An effort will be directed towards a more effective working relationship between the central functions and local associations.
• Activities and concrete actions that benefit the climate for innovation and disseminates knowledge about role models and inventing.
• Collaboration with organizations on a national basis, which could have an effect on regional activities.
• Financing of operations.

Member Associations run their own business and have a network of inventors, small business owners and stakeholders who support each other with advice, coaching, mentoring, problem solving, knowledge and inspiration. The compounds have different reasons for running their business and the variety is great.

Swedish Inventors Association and member associations bring together inventor with motivation and experience that support one another. Recognizing that the inventions and new ideas are the basis for the company to develop, grow and create jobs, we organize comprehensive moral forces. We collect all the Swedish inventor, regardless of where they are in the development stage of an invention.
