Successful Outcome for the IPITEX in Thailand Inventors’ Day 2023
2023 Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEx) in “Thailand Inventors’ Day 2023”
2nd February is announced to be the Inventors’ Day in Thailand in order to commemorate the achievement of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Father of Thai Invention. Thailand Inventors’ Day, one of the largest invention and innovation events in Thailand, is annually held from February 2 to 6 and hosted by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
Over the past 60 years, the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) has played an important role in driving research for the development of the country pursuant to the National Strategy. It is now operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, which was established and announced in the Government Gazette in May 2019. NRCT is the major organization sponsoring funds for research and innovation of the country in the fields of science, technology, social sciences, and humanities, from the stage of conducting research to the stage of application. NRCT is cooperated with allied agencies since 1995 up to the present.
It is an excellent opportunity for all Thai and international researchers, inventors, innovators also visitors to discuss and share ideas and experiences in the global structure during the five-day event.
There are many activities during the event such as the Exhibition of the National Research Award, the Exhibition and competition of national inventions from secondary schools, vocational education, Universities, the public and private sectors, a Conference and workshop on invention development and Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEx).

The 24th Thailand Inventors’ Day under the concept of “Driving Thai economy and society through inventions and innovations” was completed successfully with more than 20,000 visitors, 1,000 inventions and innovations from both local Thai inventors and 470 inventions from international partners from 29 organizations and 24 countries including Botswana, Canada, China, Croatia, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sudan, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
