IFIA President Launches International Tech Bazaar
IFIA President, Alireza Rastegrar, released a booklet titled “International Technology Bazaar” aiming to match the technology buyers with the innovators at the inaugural ceremony of the second International Innovation Fair organized by Indian Innovators’ Association (IIA) and the AP Innovation Society (APIS) in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, 9 September 2017.
IFIA President said “innovations showcasing technological advances and out-of-the box ideas would shape the destiny of a country and its people.” He also added “innovation had no borders and one could go anywhere to market his products by proving the uniqueness and cost-effectiveness of his products”.
Complimenting APIS and IIA for holding the fair in Visakhapatnam, a city with a promising future, he stated AP had taken the lead by forming the APIS to disseminate the culture of invention and innovation.
IIA president, A.S. Rao, mentioned the necessity of providing the requirements to encourage young students to become entrepreneurs in order to generate employment. He said proper ecosystem was required to hugely develop startups.
APIS CEO, V. Valli Kumari, said they were laying emphasis on inculcating innovation culture among the youth under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. She said the government was also facilitating hand-holding for the startups by tying up with several premier organizations.
