InnovaCities 2016 Report

During the awards ceremony of the InnovaCities 2016 – 6th International Inventions and Innovations’ Exhibitions the Alireza Rastegar Global Impact Invention Prize was given to the invention “Process of transformation of the coat smoke factory into meat seasoning”. The team of inventors is formed by the students Aléxia Gomes Carvalho, Danieli de Souza Borsonelli, Estela Littig Boecker e Gabrielly Caçandre Noia who study at the “Gisela Salloker Fayet” middle school, located in Paraju, Domingos Martins, Espírito Santo- Brazil;
Alireza Rastegar Prize is given to the inventor who creates an invention which can fulfill the following criteria: social, environmental and financial sustainability, technical feasibility, innovation and scalability. In other words, this invention can be reproduced under any conditions and everywhere in the world generating social and economic gains to the communities where it will be implemented. Alireza Rastegar is a brilliant internationally awarded inventor and has been developing a revolutionary work as the President of the International Federation of Inventors’ Association.
Alireza Rastegar’s Prize was offered by the Company Sol Pedras represented by its CEO Celso Luckmann.The ceremony was made in partnership with the 20th Brazilian Inventor Salon which is organized by the partner of ABIPIR, the successful entrepreneur Wagner Fafa.
Another activity which occurred during the InnovaCities 2016 was the 1st Workshop of Integration in Innovation and Business Brasil – Angola” which makes part of the activities of the ProCities – Program of Integration in Innovation and Business. During the workshop inventors and companies presented the inventions and innovations which can meet the demands of African continent.
The President of Angolan Innovators and Inventors’ Association Lei Gomes Bitombokele exhibited his invention “Pedagogy of Invention” in InnovaCities 2016 while all of the Angolan delegation’s members were there.
These activities corroborate with the philosophy of ABIPIR and IFIA to create efforts to make the process of the inventions’ commercialization easier. During the business meeting each inventor and company was able to present privately their inventions and innovations to the President of ABIPIR and Mr. Celso Salles, the entrepreneur and representative of ABIPIR at African continent.
The President of ABIPIR presented the workshop “Successful Inventor in 6 Steps” to the Angolan delegation. This workshop will be launched in an online version and will be applied in Angola and Istanbul in 2017 and as an example which is being happening in Brazil, the main goal is to give skills to inventors to make the process of inventions’ commercialization easier by giving the inventors more entrepreneurial spirit.
The Angolan delegation had important meetings organized by ABIPIR with the members of the Government of the Espirito Santo State to study the possibility to create some partnerships between Brazil and Angola.
